Why Advanced Testing Matters
If you visit a general practitioner, they'll typically run a Complete Blood Count (CBC) and Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) to determine if you're in any critical danger. While useful, these tests only scratch the surface and are primarily designed to diagnose disease — not optimize health.
At Vibrant Health Center, our advanced diagnostic panels go far deeper. We use functional ranges — narrower, optimal values associated with the lowest disease risk and highest functionality — rather than broad conventional ranges that only flag major abnormalities.
For example, while the conventional range for TSH is 0.5–4.5 mIU/L, functional medicine uses an optimal range of 1.0–2.5 mIU/L. This narrower range catches thyroid issues earlier, before they progress into full-blown disease.

GI-Map Stool Analysis

DUTCH Hormone Panel
